VF2000 VR Visual Field Analyzer

A bowl perimeter needs a dedicated room, a cooperative patient and a technician who can coach fixation. The VF2000 is a wearable VR headset that does threshold perimetry with the patient sitting wherever there is a chair, including a wheelchair, a hallway during a busy clinic, or a satellite office you visit twice a month. The patient is guided through the test by the headset itself, in their own language, so the test does not stall when your most experienced tech is on lunch. Micro Medical currently builds the VF2000 in two configurations, the G2 and the NEO, plus the G2-Lite 3.

Where the VF2000 Wins

The VF2000 earns its place on the strength of space, staffing and patient access rather than on raw specification.

Best Fit

Practices short on lane space, satellite and mobile clinics, low-vision and mobility-limited patients who cannot be positioned at a bowl, and offices where technician turnover makes repeatable perimetry hard.

Why This

The headset goes to the patient rather than the patient going to the instrument, and the test instructions come from the device rather than from your staff. For a practice adding perimetry for the first time, that removes both the room and most of the training burden.

Consider Instead

If your priority is structure-function correlation and progression analysis anchored to the fundus itself, look at the iCare COMPASS. It tracks the retina during the test and captures a confocal fundus image alongside the field. The two answer different questions, and some practices run both.
